'[He] walked straight into my heart': Photographer Finds Malnourished Lonely Puppy in Cemetery, He Wholesomely Changes Her Life Furrever

Happy wholesome weekend, animal fam. We are a firm believer in the saying, "When one door closes, another one opens." It means to look for the bad inside the good and to open yourself up to new things instead of focusing on what was taken away. After walking away from a long-time friendship, one kindhearted woman went for a drive one day, not knowing that a new friend was waiting for her at the end of her drive. She stopped by a cemetery to take pictures, and lo and behold, she found a pawsitively adorable puppy looking for love.

The doggo was in bad condition. He was malnourished, had rashes on his skin, but he walked straight up to her and into her heart. She rescued the perfect pupper, got him to the vet, and now they're both happier than ever. Even better yet, she named him Anubis - a fitting name for a doggo from the cemetery.     Look how happy he looks! This little guy won the jackpot - going from all alone in a cemetery to a loving, warm home with a mom who thinks you're the cat's meow. Or the dog's woof? Doesn't really translate the other way, does it?

    So I was photographing the other day 2 hours away in little country town cemeteries and found this puppy that is malnourished, worms, and fleas. With no one around I picked him up and homeward bound we go. I'm looking for names. I think he is going to be a Labrador mutt. Today is his vet appt. I need help naming him. Thank you in advanced for reading and helping. This lil guy is going to be my adventure buddy. He loves his peanut butter.

Just FYI in case you haven't had dogs before be careful with peanut butter, check that it doesn't contain any XYLITOL because that's toxic for them. Peanut butter without xylitol is good, with no sugar even better Have a beautiful life together! ❤❤

But I told ChatGPT the story behind him and showed pictures and asked for a name that suits him. Theo" a "gift from god" (I believe the universe brought us together.) Sable- "black or dark" Or Dante

It will come to you. Either your brain will pick it up like a name of a character in a film or book. Or they will tell you in Dreams. Or in a word you keep seeing everywhere, etc. Or from the list you get here.

    If, of course, this is acceptable to you. It's a Psychological trick for some, a Spiritual act to another. After all, our perception creates our reality. To me, what I hear, it's something to do with the concept of Spirit. So maybe Ghost. Or Anubis, the Egyptian God Dog of the Dead. Iyus, as in Christ. Angel or Malakai, both meaning messenger.     Tomorrow I'll be getting little man a seat belt. We went to the feed store today to get some calming cream for his itchy little body. There were a lot picture snapping accompanied by a lot "Aawwww's!" Anubis knows how to sit on command now. He's a brilliant pup and is has such an eager spirit. I'm so, so grateful for him.
